Mismatched China, More Chic Less Shabby?

@Goofball:  I think mismatch china is chic but to keep it classy I think it needs to be the same colors.

@Goofball:  Its’s hard to tell on my computer if that is a gold or silver inner border on the floral china. If it is silver, it will connect with the grey and white just fine.

If it is not, I would look for something with a silver trim and a floral pattern to go with the grey and white plates, and a plainer design with a gold trim to go with the floral plates you pictured.

That way you can mix and match the plates from two designs for each place setting. If you have 4 different designs and 8 people per table, two people at each table will have the same mix but reversed. eg grey and white dinner plate, with floral patterned salad plate on top vs floral patterned dinner plate with grey and white salad plate.

 

 

If you are using orange and pink runners, i would try to find china with a bit of those colors.

I think your tables will  be beautiful.

@Goofball:  So true. Probably easier to match the runners to the china than vice versa.
