@soontobehisbride:  Are the guys in charcoal suits, or grey Tuxedos?  I don’t like contrasting vests, in either case, but under a regular suit it’ll look ridiculous.  When you say mismatched groomsmen, I assume you mean they’re each wearing a dark grey suit of their own choosing?

I’d say use both colours… and if you really want to be fun, pair the blush girl with the mauve guy, and the mauve girl with the blush guy.

@soontobehisbride:  I would do white shirts and purple ties, of whatever shade you think looks good.  I like mismatched, personally, but since the suits match, you can go either way with the ties.  I would either do matching vests (the same material as the suit) or skip the vests.  I got ties for my guys at http://www.TheTieBar.com $15/tie, and youc can do either matching r mistmatched but coordinated well.  The ties are 100% silk, and about the same quality as a $40-$50 tie at Nordstrom’s.

Blush ties are problematic, because there isn’t much contrast between them, and even a white shirt.  Ties should be darker than shirts; I know lots of guys break that rule, but when you do, it drastically reduces the formality of your outfit.  So, the ties should probably be darker than the bridesmaids dresses to start with.

You could do lavender, or blush shirts, but I’d just do white shirts with french cuffs, because (1) they’re much more formal, and (2) the guys will already have one, or get lots of wear out of it in the future.  Some guys will wear a pink or purple shirt lots, but some would never wear it again.

I would get a set of ties something like this:

@soontobehisbride:  I would match the vests to the suits (I think that’s more in right now) and just do colour in the ties.

In a perfect world, I would choose all differnt patterned ties that compliment the colour pallet.  But that would be a fair bit of work…so I’d likely just choose one colour that works and do it for all.

my girls are mismatched, so i put all the guys in black tuxes with black vests, black ties, and white shirts. Matches anything.

@MrsWinTraining2014:  And is sartorially correct, since  I choose to believe it’s bow ties.  *Fist Bump*

I’m with Duncan. Match the vests to the suits. Colored vests that match the girls’ dresses can look a bit “prom-ish” and having the two different colors would not be good at all.
