So I LOVE the mismatched vintage china place settings I’ve seen around the wedding blogs. Unfortunately it doesn’t make sense for me because we’re doing food stations, and all the plates will be stacked there rather than laid out on the tables. Therefore it would be really expensive to rent them without having much a visual impact.
My compromise is to use mismatched vintage china only for cake plates – to make the cake slices “special” and to be able to incorporate the trend in a minimalist, cost-effective way. Of course, these won’t be set out in advance either, but do you think people will still notice when they’re served? Do you think this is a good idea or would it not really get attention or add much to the decor?
Thanks so much, ladies!!!
