@jca1207:  hmm.. It’s hard to tell, I had 4 girls 2 different dresses but the same color. Maybe you could alternate bright yellow, light yellow. I picture it like this dress # 6, 1, 4, 7, 5, 2, 3

Looking at your pictures I would say no and that I think you should stick with one designer….either DB or Dessy. However, the computers colors will not be the same in person so it might actually work. My BM dresses are mismatched in style. Color and length are the same, and all but one dress (last pictured) is chiffon. The dresses pictured below are from DB. I too was worried about cohesiveness but as it turns out a lot of brides are mismatching these days. I would have preferred one dress but my girls each are a different shape and size…so I had no choice! I know you are letting them pick but are you able to have them try the gowns on together to make sure they look good together?

Here are my BM dresses:

Oh and I just looked…DB has the dress styles you picked in the color canary (light yellow) and sunbeam (Bright yellow). You could pick three dress styles (not including the MOHs) and have two girls do the same style in a diff color and so on. The more I look at your example I’m not particulary fond of the DB dress with the cascading ruffles. Its not for everyone…it worked on only one of my BMs and then it didnt flow with the other dress styles. I think if you get rid of that one and redo your example without it…it will probably work. What do you think?

If you want to do mismatched I would either do completely mismatched – as in different styles and slightly different colors (any designer) or go more matching and choose one designer & color. Doing two colors seems a little strange to me.
