Aww I'm sorry you ended up losing your pet! I still love my cat that my dad has! He's an old man now though!
I still miss the dog & cats I grew up with that are at my parents house even though we still have our own puppy now.

7 years ago my boyfriend now husband bought me a puppy. At the time I was still living with my family so he became our family pet. Now that I am married I did not think it was fair to my parents, sister & him to take him away to my new home. I miss him so much & my house is so quiet without a pet I miss the sound of him running down the hall to great me at the door. I am so excited to see him everytime I go visit. We would love one day to get a puppy of our own but it really isn't a good time right now.
I was just wondering if anyone else was missing their family pet now that they are married?
