I didn't realise she went anywhere
. I'll be sad if she's not around the hive anymore.
Yeah, she just blogged on the 8th and it's only the 10th now...
She didn't go anywhere - - she was absent for a little but she apologized and explained why and where she was....She has posted like 3 blog posts in the past week I think....Check'em out
EDIT = = she totally peaced out, in a very respectful manner, wowza I clearly didn't read her post on 3/8, haahaahaa
I just read her last post - I think it's pretty inspiring to see someone "take back the wedding." Honestly, if you commit yourself to having this big party with your family and friends, you do have to make a lot of compromises and do things you would prefer to avoid. So if you don't love the idea of a wedding, that stress and those compromises seem pointless. I hope more brides-to-be who are not interested in a wedding can just say no like she did and get married the way they want.
Her most recent post was about how she didn't want a wedding and she mentioned she was hanging her hat as "Miss Rainbow." She signed it "Tiffany." Saying "Au Revoir." Perhaps I'm reading too much into it, but I thought she was saying she's done with WeddingBee.
It seems like she has been struggling throughout the process to balance what she wanted out the wedding versus what everyone else wanted/expected her wedding to be. I say good for her for finally deciding to do things her way.
I just read her post, I agree it sounds like she's definitely done. That's sad but however good for her for standing up for what she wants!
My thoughts are that I'm happy she's doing what she has to do for herself and her future H. Weddings can place SOOOO much stress and expecations on people and I applaud her for NOT caving to those pressures and staying true to herself.
I'm sad to see her go, but agree with her decision.
She said on the 8th that she was hanging her Miss Rainbow hat, said good bye and signed Tiffany (sorry to repeat the last two points!) so I am pretty sure she left the bee.
Anyhow, I REALLY like Miss R! She was spunky and fun and I loved her hair and makeup tips and how to's. And her series on "What type of bride are you?" was great!
dude! i feel like i just saw her on the boards today :o) my bad! It's a shame - she and I have similar opinions on the whole wedding things, based on that last post! i just had a lot less resistance in carrying out our ideas, which were not traditional for our families.
Good luck Tiffany! Post on the boards, you're funny and you don't say anything sappy to be nice. PM me if you're ever in North Florida!
I completely missed her post! :( She was one of my favorites.
So sad, I'll really miss her - thanks for posting this, I didn't see her goodbye.
I'll miss her as a Bee, but I do hope she sticks around the boards.
Honestly, I'm really jealous! I wouldn't ever in a million years have the guts to do what she did, so more power to her! My family would probably disown me- not my parents, but the rest of them.
