I would think I wasn't pregnant, honestly, unless you're actively trying. Then i'd give it a little more time. Sounds like dancing, stress, and being sick could've just thrown everything off
Seems like both of those things could mess your body up.
I'd say even before you schedule and appointment with your doc - call and speak to someone there about it (most docs usually have someone who can answer general medical questions). That way you don't waste time going to an appointment for something that could be not a big deal.
@ejs4y8- We aren't trying in terms of today is the day, but we aren't preventing. I think I'm not but just in case I've been careful about what I'm drinking/eating and made sure this antibiotic was safe to take.
@camrie- Good idea. I'll call Monday. I'm trying to give things the weekend when I'm more rested!

Okay so I missed my period it's been 5 days. I've taken 2 tests a few days apart and both say not prego. I was thinking that if nothing happens over the weekend I'll go visit my doctor. But in the meantime do any of you know if these things could be the problem?
1) I've had this really awful sinus infection so I'm taking cefurxime antibiotic and they gave me a steriod. The labels on the pregnancy test don't list these as drugs that could give you a false reading. I briefly browsed the internet and didn't see anything about them causing a false reading or a missed period.
2) I just finished a two week run of a musical. I'm a dancer and my costume weighed about 10 lbs and then with the body microphone and head dress I was probably carrying about 20 lbs extra and dancing. I lost 4 lbs the 1st week of the show. So I know that weight loss/gains can cause a missed period. I'm leaning more towards this being the root cause.
I guess I'm really more curious to see if anyone knows about this antibiotic/steriod shot.
