Does it bother anyone else when you look at a blog post featuring someone's wedding and you never see the groom (or at least never his face)? It seems like I see this quite a bit...lots of detail pictures and close ups of the bride, but the groom seems to be MIA!

I don't like to post too many photos of my SO--I know it'd weird him out....maybe they feel like they're protecting his privacy?

Yeah, I've never put a pic of my SO here on WB, but I'm talking about on a photographers blog or a wedding blog, like Southern Weddings for example. They show beautiful weddings, but I feel like it's not a good representation of the day when I don't see a groom anywhere!

Hmm...maybe because as brides, we relate to other brides better and details. I guess we don't swoon over looking at other peoples' grooms the way we do other brides =). Plus, men don't read wedding blogs as much as us! lol

I agree, I defintely do not swoon over the grooms in those pictures. Instead I'm like "What a pretty necklace shes wearing!" "ohhhh I want my hair like hers!" I kind of like that its a little more women than men since we're the ones who tend to be doing most of the planning too! (I could never imagine my fiance actually paging through a wedding magazine!)
