K. SO…. two months later… we still have YET to see any of our professional pictures.
Is this normal?? I sent our photographer an email two weeks ago and another message last night. And nothing…
Im a little worried!

Did you have a contract with your photog? If so, what does it say? I believe that 8-12 weeks is the standard quoted time, although usually photographers hope to have pics back sooner.

@CorgiTales Yup we did. She is actually a friend of the family… kind of. I know someone she’s related to…yadda yadda…
We were told proofs back in a month…??
Now. I also told her no hurry….That I understand all the time that goes into editing. However, its the zero contact that bothers me most. I dont care if she says we’ll have them three months from NOW… I just want to know.

We had ours back in about 9-10 weeks. I would shoot her a phone call or email and just ask for an update.

We got ours back really quickly but the first batch was just some raw unedited pictures.

Seriously… I JUST got a message back from her. I feel really bad now for posting this!!! haha.
Its just that *SO* many people ask about the pictures…! Im happy that she responded. She is an AMAZING photographer. … and I guess that makes her a busy one too… Im just a big planner. I need to know what time EVERYTHING happens. Guess I need to chill out.
Thanks for listening! This was my first post after being married! Its been to long! I love Weddingbee!!!

Just to share … I got married 2 weeks before you and I am just going to pick up my pics tomorrow! However, I was pretty relaxed because I met up with our photog for coffee about a month in, and she called me last week to update. It does take a while for good work though!

If you haven’t heard from her by the end of next week I would phone. Not in a pushy way, just in a “hi, hope things are well. Just wanted an update on the photos” type of call.

Thanks for all the help. I actually got in touch via facebook and things are underway, but still not ready. Ill just put my patient pants on and sweat it out!
