Some are waiting for pro pics. Some life just has a way of making time to do them tough. Some are just MIA. And some have personal reasons for not doing them.

I wish Scissors would finish hers, but I know her business got super busy after her wedding and life got in the way.
I do know that quite a few of them got pregnant pretty soon after and have never come back to do recaps.
I totally understand how life carries on after the wedding and things can get too busy / hectic and recaps can be put on the backburner... just curious as to who you WISH would come back and recap :0)
I just got my pro pics back a few weeks ago...so the Ostrich Recaps will be coming soon. :)
I'm so thankful the hive has been so patient....recaps are my favorite part of the blog and boards too!
i just keep checking for Mrs. Teacup. her wedding wasn't TOO long ago though so she may still be waiting for photos. i am confident she will do her recaps evetnually.
My top few I would like to see are Scissors' return. I loved her few she posted and was really looking forward to her reception photos.
I was really hoping to see Sunrise's recaps because she was the only MN bee and I really wanted to see what she incorporated into her wedding.
I wanted to see the end of Snow's and hear what happened with her husband. He had cancer during the wedding that I believe she found out afterwards and I always think of her and hope he's doing well.
ETA: I will say It's extremely disappointing when bee's don't finish or at least don't explain why they haven't returned. At least with Snow I know why she hasn't come back and the most I wish for is that her husband is healthy. With others I just get frustrated that they didn't return.
P.S. I'm waiting on Pins and needles for the rest of Panther's recaps
@PurpleUnicorn: As far as I know she is still waiting for her photos. Some photographers can take months to turn around the photos, while others can do it in weeks. I agree that I wish some would come back to finish their's too. You can always send them a message and let them know!
Mine are coming up very soon! My pro pics should be here any day now (any day...) so after the holidays I can hit it hard and heavy.
I'm still waiting for the full set of my pro pics! I can't wait to do recaps!
Sometimes when I can't sleep I like to read through old bee posts from the beginning. I finished Scissors' last night, and was so disappointed that they ended when they did.
Oh, you ladies are so sweet to think of us blogging Bees! Just know that pro pictures can sometimes take a long time, and then a lot of us like to write all of our recaps before publishing them so that we can make sure you get a steady flow of recaps that actually finish, rather than just one here and there that maybe we never get around to finishing. And then there's always a few blogging bees in the "life happens" camp. Ideally we'll all be here to provide thorough recaps in a timely manner, but unfortunately, that's just not always the case.
I know that I got married three months ago (today!), and I still haven't gotten my pro pics yet. Mr. P and I just got our teaser pics last week, and I'm hopeful we'll have the rest of them in January. Until then, I obviously can't do recaps. But as soon as those pictures are in my hands, I'm getting a start on things!
I'm actually really happy to see a thread like this because recapping can be very daunting, and sometimes I wonder if anyone cares if we come back and tell you about our weddings. Obviously I love reading all the recaps on the blog and boards, but I definitely feel self-conscious about writing so much about my wedding, and it's good to know that recaps are exciting for the readers. That alone will motivate me to get them done as fast as possible when I finally get my pictures back. :)
Ahhh, sorry, guys! We just got our pro pics on a disc a couple weeks ago, but I'm going to need some time to organize them and plan out my posts. :) In the meantime, I should probably do my shower recap and honeymoon recap ... aaahhhhh!!!
so... are we talking like a full explanation of stuff or just posting pictures and general comments? i never did a full recap, but i did post our pics that were blogged by our photogs.
It can take so long to get the professional shots back, and writing the recaps is a labour intensive process thats for sure! I had over 800 photos to sort through.

I agree with Mrs P too - its so nice to know that people are interested in the recaps, comment on your favourite bees blog posts - we love it!
I am sure a lot of bees, especially from the Carnival generation are waiting to get their pro pics back...but there are so many other bees that have just fallen off the face of the earth! Does anyone know whatever happened with Ms. Oatmeal, Ms. Handbag, or Ms. Carousel? I know Ms. Oatmeal's fiance was supposed to deploy but I have no idea if they got married or not...and Ms. Handbag's destination wedding fell through and her fiance got laid off, but no update since. I hope these bees are okay! There are a lot of others that I would love to see recaps for!

Just saw this--after I take the first of my clinical boards (and send out my TY notes--god school is a 60 hour a week time suck!) I'm going to do my recaps! Right now I'm practicing for boards every Sat and Sun. and I'm tired :-(. I promise my recaps will be at least started before I become Dr. Biscuit. I'm leaving for rotation in BFE soon, so I should have time to write some stuffz.
P.S. I saw Mrs. Pain au Chocolate (and Mr.!) in WV while they were on the road. Not only are they doing well--they brought a case of Dogfish head for us! Best people ever!

I'll be around soon I hope! Our wedding was so much fun. In the meantime, I've applied and interviewed at my school of choice for my DPT program, so I've been swamped with preparations and prerequisites. Mr. Skunk and I are also looking for a new home! But I promise not to let all that stand in the way. Recaps will go up as soon as I get my pro pics back!
I just now found this thread! :D Knowing that bees (@didymoose3 & @purple_orchids) are actually asking after my recaps is super sweet, not to mention flattering and humbling. I assumed I was one of the under-the-rader bloggers. You guys just made my night (which happens to be our 8 month anniversary)!
And here's the update everyone wants to hear: Our pro pics arrived YESTERDAY! (The last two months have been an agonizing wait, but our photographer just had a baby so we cut her some much deserved slack!) This good news means I can now dig into writing my recaps. And I've got a little surprise that will kick off the recaps!

I just saw this! There will be Bunting recaps, I promise! I'm actually working on writing them all out before I start any just so there's no chance for a long lapse between posts. I have, like, four left to finish writing. Getonitalready, right?

I've noticed quite a few bees never start/ complete their wedding recaps. Whose recaps are you especially bummed that you never saw? I REALLY wanted to see Mrs. Pin Cushions!!
