Long time no see!!!
I was wondering what the general consensus is about mixing metals with your band and engagment ring? I am contemplating using a rose gold band to go with my white gold engagement ring. Would that look tacky??
Here is my lovely!
ACK! big picture and here is the ring I am thinking of
whatcha think ladies!?

I think if the band matches in other ways besides color (as yours does,) it could be very pretty.

You could try going to a Jewelry store and comparing it. My Engagement Ring is not a normal round band, it has the shape of cherry blossoms in it so we went around to jewelry stores to try different types of rings on to see which would look the best. We ended up getting a custom band that was all cherry blossom shaped to fit snug against the Ering.

I think those would look really pretty together.

Thanks everyone! I think I will go into a store and compare the two. Its nice to know I am not completely insane to contemplate it!

Heck yes! Becuase that is what I am wearing righ thtis second! I have the formal ‘made to match the e-ring’ band that I wear occasionally, but it is much to wide my rose gold one became a fast favourite and I wear the two together all the time, I think it looks more unique that way. Rock the dual metals girl!

I love mixing metals. White gold with rose gold is my fav.

I used to be opposed to mixing metals on the same finger until I saw rose gold + white gold. I think getting your band in rose gold will look great!

My e-ring and wedding band with the diamonds in it are white gold and I have a thinner rose gold band. I get so many compliments on it! I’d say go for it!

I alsolove mixing metals. I plan on getting a rose gold eternity for my wedding band.

I think it would look great if you had 2 one on each side!!

I like the look, but I think it’s very trendy right now and will go out of style.

It looks really great, but it is a trend and maybe will not be as current after a few years, but if you are really sure, I would say go for it! 😀

I would not recommend it. As I recall, rose gold, though beautiful, was last extremely popular about 30-35 years ago and is just now enjoying a major resurgence. I think your e-ring is beautiful, and I think you will be happiest of you make a more traditional choice to have your wedding band be of the same metal as your e-ring.
You can always buy another band in rose gold later to spice things up, if you really want to do so.
