The Lesseps is definitely my favorite! Very classic and unique - and I love the lace detail at the top!
Lesseps is what I voted for yesterday and will again today! I think it looks so elegant and gorgeous on you! Timeless.
Daylice is my fav. I heart taffeta! And no major alterations is a total score. Which one do you like best??
Are you able to order your dress against your hollow to hem measurements? That way nothing will get cut off and all flair outs and/or details will start at the right place on your dress (against your body.) I really really like that last 3 dresses you have posted: Lesseps, Leyre, Daylice. My favorite on you is Lesseps
I ordered my dress against my hollow to hem - in addition the flair out is being raised 1.5 inches because I am short, lol.
All of the dresses look amazing on you, but I gasped (in a good way) when I saw the Daylice. :)
You really look just wonderful in all of them. But i have to agree with the others that the Lesseps just looks fantastic on you, a style that won't go out of date, and honestly a dress that not many people can pull off and have it look good. i know your friends were commenting on the mummified look, do you agree wtih them or do you like it?
Daylice again but without the bows. Given the alterations issues with the others, it just makes me like it more!
It's crazy last time I voted for the Laura on you but now I love the Lesseps. It's stunning.
It's sad that I love each dress for different reasons. The Daylice is so unique and I love the sparkle tulle. It's totally something I'd wear to a party or when I'm being trendy. :-)
Lesseps just seems like the shape of my favorite black and white gown that I usually wear to other ppl's wedding. I get tons of compliments on that. I love the lace detail but not sure about so many horizontal lines. Maybe I should just think about the overall look and not worry about the lines?
I love the soft layers on the Leyre and the ethereal look of the train.

Well the train on the Lesseps is good too:

Well the Leyre has always been my favorite, but considering the alteration to the bottom, I would go with the Lesseps - I think it will look most like how it's supposed to look once the alterations are finished.
I've mentioned before that I don't like the Daylice, and the need for no alterations doesn't really sway me.
I voted for Daylice. I like how different it looks and it looks awesome on you!! :]
The shape of Lesseps---but the tiers remind me of a pillbug, or rolly polly.... :( So I choose the Daylice (without the bow, and with a sweetheart neckline!)
Very helpful feedback from everyone. Thanks.
@Mrs. DG - I was a bit overwhelmed by so many horizontal lines initially, but I think I've gotten used to it. It probably helps to create a ripple effect so it doesn't bother me.b
I am still 100% with the Lesseps. I love the fit, the lines, the detail, and the way it flows.
I LOVE the Leyre! I think it is so ethereal and heavenly. Much less trendy than the Lesseps, and less common, IMO.
Is there any way the dress can be made to your proportions without secondary altering? I know my Casablanca dress was made to my hollow to hem measurement.
I still like the Laura.
Unfortunately hollow to hem would take an extra 2 months or something and I'm out of time.
the daylice is incredible! i love the neckline on it, and the bow! its totally something i would wear. actually, its like my dream dress.
DON'T DO STRAPLESS! it's sooo USUAL. it won't be remembered.
i do not like the lesseps b/c i am not a fan of the vertical rows.
love the daylice b/c it is different and fits the body awesome!
Lesseps. It makes you look like a model!
I persoanlly REALLY dislike the DAylice. It just looks like it is trying to do way too much.
I still love the Daylice on you.
I love the bodice and the slightly assymetrical slope is SO unique. (and how it almost looks
I love the layers of tulle (I cant see the sparkles, but I'm sure they're gorgeous)
The other dresses to me are forgettably like so many other's I've seen. And personally I dont like the layers of the Lessups at all ( I also recall a bride whose dress had layers similar to that saying that hers started flipping up whilie she was seated.
I like the the Laura and the Leyre. I kind of agree with VirginiaMarie about the Lesseps... there is something very insect-like about it. I dunno. I just flat out dont like the Daylice. The top is beautiful, but the bottom looks like a failed craft project.
But seriously, you need to stop with the polls and go with your gut. We can't choose your dress for you. All you're going to do is confuse yourself.
I like the Lesseps. I think it would actually look fine without the lace reattached.
I'm going to have to agree with a couple other posts.....just have a hollow to hem measurement taken...it costs more when you order the dress but is generally MUCH cheaper than a hem. Not to mention...when you have a dress that you love and has a amazing detail at the bottom, thats what a hollow to hem measurement is for...and many lines will allow you to do this...it will save you a lot of headache...even if some dresses don't offer you a hollow to hem ask and see if they carry any of their dress 3 inches shorter...aka petite length...
The Lesseps is absolutely amazing on you! The only part I'm not a fan of is the lace on the top - I would probably tuck in/remove.
I still like Lesseps and I INTENSELY dislike Daylice, it's too messy
I voted LESSEPS! It looks amazing on you. The top part is dainty and feminine and beautiful. I see what people say about the layers but they stll look beautiful. Once I saw them on the train I was hooked. It is a beautiful amazing dress.
I love the Leyre... it looks soft and ethereal, and just fits you best as is right now.
my vote is for either the lesseps or the leyre - i adore the lace on the top and bottom of the lesseps, but the train on the leyre is phenomenal, and very ethereal. i think whichever one of those two you go with, you can't go wrong!
best of luck!
I voted the Leyre because it makes your waist look teeny (not that the others don't do the same!). The Lesseps is pretty but I have a cocktail dress (BCBG) with those horizontal layers and I know the quality is different in a wedding gown, but when I would sit down in that dress and get up, I would find the layers would crinkle and fold up so I'd have to smooth them back down. Plus I just love the flowiness of the bottom of the Leyre!
Leyre! The Lesseps is ok but I don't like the lacey part in the middle of the top and on the bottom layer. The Leyre gives a similar effect and I like the scattered embellishments. I also think it definitely has more of the goddess/ethereal feel.

Hello Bees,
So I went back to the store and retried the dresses and had a couple pinned for how it would look if I had them altered.
Well, it turns out that some will alter better than others. Sadly the favorite Laura will not look well with the general hemline alteration.
Thus, I wanted to start another poll based on what the dress will look like after alterations.
Here is the Laura if we were to alter it to my length. The triangle inset panel gets cut off unless I spend hundreds more to get it moved up. I think this is helpful if any of you girls need to consider alterations.
The LESSEPS will need the bottom chopped off and reattached.
The LEYRE - some layers will get chopped off.
Daylice - length is already adjusted - no need for alteration.
Please include comments to explain why you picked the dress. I am down to the wire and desperate for help to make the right decision. :-( Thanks everyone!
