they are adorable!! i think they lend themselves well to your theme.  you could use a picture of them as a backdrop for the invitations, have your cake topper be two kissing sparrows or use the motif for printed napkins, thank you notes, etc.

Yay! Another sparrow lover! That motif will look great (I’m biased, lol). Maybe someone on etsy can make a cake topper that matches. They would also look great on all your paper – placecards, etc. How about edible favors that are bird shaped? Or maybe a rustic nest can be a subtle nod in the centerpieces?

i think it’s an awesome idea! i LOVE birds! i have one tattooed on my hip;) we are also doing a rustic-elegant wedding & we’re doing a birds/trees theme on things. bird cage card box, tree with birds in it & our initials carved in the trunk on our invites, tables are having burlap runners & mixed in with the florals will be metal candle sticks that have little birds on them & little lanterns that look like bird cages (got both at yankee candle). for your cake it would be cute to use slices of tree as the stand & have little birds like those as a topper (etsy has lots of cute animal toppers & decor from birch trees). you could have a bird’s nest rather than a pillow for your brings. i’m having the florist wire a little red bird into my bouquet, my grandpa loved cardinals & he passed away, so it’s my way of taking him with me down the aisle=)

Cute design!  Everyone else has already mentioned what I think you could use them for.  My only suggestion is that to make it look more rustic, maybe you could mute the colors a little bit?  Instead of that bright red, maybe a slightly rusty orangey-red.

I love that idea I think kissing sparrows will fit perfectly into your wedding, as lond as you find the right pieces. what do you think about these birds? You can change their colors too.
