can't wait to hear if it works for you!!

bees out there - has anyone been tracking the timing the engagement chicken makers? would be interesting to compile a list to see teh variance in times and situations: e.g. ladies who knew the ring had been purchased/ordered before making the chicken vs. ladies who had only begun the engagement discussions and made the chicken.

i made engagement butternut squash ravioli from scratch...i'm hoping that does the trick!

I did a variation (second time) with beer butt chicken and used also sliced lemons and onions under the skin.  Rubbed it with olive oil and put sea salt on it.  Put the beer up the hoo-ha of the chicken and then baked it.  Poured lemon juice all over it too and also some sliced up lemons inside of it.

That turned out better than the E chicken!

I have never heard of engagement chicken.  Sounds interesting although I am not usually allowed in the kitchen as I tend to be a train wreck when cooking.

I'm doing my variation of the lemon as well using a lemon pepper rub with a lemon pepper marinade and rubbin garlic all over it and an onion and putting the onion and garlic under the skin...
