When I was younger I would visit my Aunt and Uncle in MN every summer. Nothing beats the food at the Minnesota State Fair!

I haven’t been in years and I still miss it. My sister now lives out in Coon Rapids and she has been to the state fair a couple of times already. I am so jealous haha.

OMG! I LOVE the MN state fair! My BIL is from St. Paul and the cheese curds are life-changing! My 7-months pregnant sister and BIL actually went back just for the fair this weekend! I would have totally gone… Just run a little more and eat salads for days afterward! :p

Heck no!  I didn’t skip the state fair last year (when it was a month and a half before my wedding) and I didn’t skip it this year either.

Sweet Martha’s cookies, deep fried candy bars, and cheese curds are just too good to pass up.

I’ve gone every year for the past 5 years!  This year may have been my last for awhile because we may be moving next summer.

I miss the MN State Fair so much! I lived in the Twin Cities for a decade, and despite moving away 4 years ago, I still crave those cheese curds. I would have gone despite the need to fit into a wedding dress – it would have been worth a few extra runs!

I went this year. I officially started my diet today (and failed misterably) so I didn’t have to miss out ๐Ÿ™‚

i went three times, and didn’t skip! i did try to eat better (ie i got grilled shrimp instead of the fried), but i still got my pickle dog (outside frontier bar), my cheese curds, and *sigh* my deep-fried milky way.  the fiance wanted a bite and i was so tempted to not let him have one at all because he made fun of me for getting it.  i just couldn’t skip the food (and i didn’t get all that i wanted – no corn dog, no funnel cake ๐Ÿ™ ) LOVE the MN State Fair!
