I need to vent as I am freaking out:

My mom has an ivory colored dress, very similar to mine.  Both of our dresses are strapless, empire cut, hers with a chiffon, mine with tulle.  Not her fault as my FMIL picked the cloth for her dress (it was done abroad, where FMIL lives).  FMIL's dress will have the same color and cloth but thankfully, I convinced her to change it.  Now, she said it's a light champagne.  Uhm, isn't light champagne still ivory?  She said she doesn't like it any darker because it will look dull.  I can't do anything about my mom's dress as it is already done.  My mom was so upset that she went dress shopping 2 days ago and found a golden brown dress.

FMIL will be flying in on March 25th and I will then see her dress.  Ughhhh!!!  Why wouldn't she just stay clear of ivory and let me wear the ONLY ivory colored dress on my wedding day?!

Yes, that's right... I just vented big time!  Thanks for listening :)

aaww Im sorry. Hopefully its not too alike. Your dress will be a brides dress and i think either ways all eyes will be on you.

I hope nobody mistakes her for the bride! LOL!  MOG and MOB are both size 0 and looks pretty young for their age.  Seriously, if you saw my mom's dress, it could be a bridal gown.  She just needs a veil.  Ughhh!!!

And the thing is, she knows that I don't want anybody in my wedding wearing white or ivory.  Especially a long white/ivory gown.  I don't think that's a very unreasonable thing to ask.  Oh well.
