Check other dept stores such as Dillards, Sears, Nordstrom, JCPenney, whatever is in your area. Also check into Lane Bryant and ask what they know of (that other places carry) or that they have for special occasion attire. Another option is getting a dress custom made by a local seamstress.
Nordstrom has a good selection and GREAT customer service. They have a lot of knee length options...not as many long gowns.
My mom is clasustrophobic and needed to have her dress totally cut up and altered to fit her supposedly huge bust too. You may have ok luck trying a bridal shop, and then working with their tailors to get something that will keep her happy.

My mom needs some help with her attire-she wants her arms covered, is not opposed to knee length, and it needs to accomadate her 'very large bust'. She doesn't want it to be overly tight either and she has looked at macy's so far. Where should she look??
thanks :)
