Any mommies here have one? I am planning on purchasing one but I was kind of weighing the pros and cons? Any mommies have the moby and the more backpack type carrier or did you just purchase one or the other? Opinions welcome, good or bad! 🙂

Commenting to hear responses – I’m really interested too 🙂 YouTube videos and reviews online have me thinking they are awesome but it would be great to hear some honest and unbiased comments 🙂

i got one from loveyduds on etsy: http://www.etsy.com/search?q=loveyduds&view_type=gallery&ship_to=CA
and LOVED it. i wish i had had it for my first child.. my second lived in it. It’s very comfortable (much more so than the backpack types with the snaps (IMO)
You can YouTube a bunch of different ways to put the baby in. When DD was a newborn, I folded it more like a sling… and then she moved to facing me.. sometimes I would put her forward facing, but she really liked snuggling up to me better (even now that she’s 18 months.. she still loves going in it). I never attempted putting it on my back.. i was too afraid of her falling out.
In the summer, i didn’t find her to overheat and in the winter, I found it more comfortable to put her in it and then put a larger coat (like my husbands) on over top of both of us. She didn’t really like being in a snowsuit and then in the wrap.
LoveyDuds has great customer service and I really liked the different options for the fabric panel.

I plan on getting one 🙂 I work with a physical therapist who said a correctly tied Moby or an ErgoBaby are the best baby wearing gear for baby’s hips and pelvis.

I’m registering for one. I was torn on the different styles so I think just classic style moby. We could always sell it and try another one if we didn’t like it.

@penguin22: Thanks I’m going to check the seller out!
@ellebeerob: Good to know that it’s great for your body as well!
@MrsDW: That is a good point.

We registered for both types as Dh would like to use the other style better. I will probably go with the Moby.

@travellingfool: Same with us 🙂 I’ve heard the Ergo carrier is the best for guys, but a few moms have told me how much they love their Moby wraps.
