Since I’m ridiculously early with a history of miscarriages, we will be holding off on telling anybody for a while.
That said, any other bees have suggestions for New Year’s Eve mocktails? I know even I say I’m the DD, that won’t work because in the past we’ve slept over (party’s always at BIL’s house). I think I just need to fake it!

Cran, sprite and a splash of OJ.
Or, maybe offer to bring punch. I make one that’s amazing, 1 can frozen orange juice concentrate (thawed), 2L of sprite/lemon lime soda and a jug of cranberry juice. Leave the alcohol out so that people can mix it with their own. I like it with vodka or rum, so to leave the alcohol out of the punch isn’t a big deal, not to mention some people like their drinks stronger than others.

Fake mojito? Soda water, lime, mint leaves, sweet n sour. It would definitely look cocktail-y.
Oh and congrats and good luck! 😀

This stuff is awesome we add cocoanut rum to it but it’s just as good without as well.
Congrats on the little bean!

I just do club soda and lime when I don’t want to drink! I’m not pregnant but if I don’t feel like drinking I at least need to look like I have a drink or someone will be handing me one! Otherwise mix some orange juice, sour mix and grenadine for a virgin amaretto stone sour!! Yum! Have fun and congrats girl!

@Jilliebean1: I hid my pregnancy by drinking non alcoholic wine.

Orange juice and grenadine syrup will look like a tequila sunrise, and is pretty darn tasty (I drink it myself when i want something refreshing). Lemonade and grenadine… pretty much any mixer will be fine as most alcohol is clear anyway!
I like the DIY punch idea too 🙂

@Jilliebean1: Make some punch that people can spike with vodka if they desire!
I’ve made this for parties and people actually go for this OVER beer and wine. Or they spike their own drink, lol.
1/2 gallon raspberry sherbet
2 liters ginger ale
33 ounces pineapple juice

I’d probably go soda and lime sans vodka. But the punch unmixed is a great idea too
