Just finished them and figure people usually like to see glittery things. So here are my BMs shoes!
My camera wouldnt photograph the true color of them. Its more of a warm purple than a cool purple. They’re so pretty and sparkly! Now I want to get a different pair of shoes and make some for myself!

I love that Maya Angelou quote, and it’s SO TRUE. I’m filled with bitterness and loathing when I think about my former boss, but it’s hard for me to think of specifics…!
Anyway, I think learning to fight was the best thing my husband and I ever did. We figured it out a few years into our relationship, and I remember being so relieved. We talked out the problem instead of leaving it and being angry with each other, and our relationship just got stronger and stronger after that. We’re able to tell each other if we’re upset, and why, and talk about it, and then solve the problems.
The one thing that helps in our relationship, too, that isn’t mentioned in the article, is not spending every second of every day together. Though that could fall under “keep it real” or whatever it was. We have our own hobbies and our own things we do. We don’t have to do everything together. I think if we did, we’d be so annoyed and unable to appreciate each other. We also don’t annoy our friends by being “that couple”.

@sjhanddab2014: That is terrible! I thought my trip to the hospital this weekend was bad, but that was just from falling and hitting my head! Hopefully the patch stays in place, and you don’t have to go back to the hospital anytime soon!
@globalmargaret: I’m not pregnant yet, but I just wanted to wish you good luck! Hopefully things get better for you, and you can have a happy last part of your pregnancy. I couldn’t imagine getting sick in public.
