I love flowers… I love white flowers in glass jars with twine around them. i like the rustic feel very much.
But I don’t want to go rustic all the way. I’d like to have modern, clean, simple too. Can I make this work? I have no idea how! Help please? Pictures would be great!
my colors are: navy blue, white, cream, light brown
venue is light yellow, outdoors.

I think it can totally work. We are doing a rustic-romance theme [without mason jars].
We’re thinkings lots of candles & a low candlelit dinner, wood slices under the candles, lots of white flowers.

Oh and to add, this is our ceremony site.. not very rustic, but that will be the romantic part of it :P!

@AnaA: I think the contrast is what will make it interesting.
check this out:
bare wood table with gold rimmed china
simple china , black napkin and clean lined silverware with burlap and wood
chalkboard sign with crystal glasses
burlap placemat with silver and crystal

Leave out mason jars and go for more modern ceramic or colored glass. I think its more about the shape of the containers.

@pinkksnow: actually, I am not doing mason jars, they are not avaliable where I live. I am doing crystal containers.
so you mean, no transparent crystal? Do you have pictures of the containers you have in mind?

What do you think about this? Milk glass + glass centerpieces? I am thinking baby’s breath in the glass and a little more colorfull flowers in the milk glass… What do you think? I also want to give little pots of suculent as favors (placed in every seat) what color should the pot be? White?
what about tableclothes and stationary?
Omg! Sorry about being so annoying, I just really don’t have a clue about design!! Thanks for your help!

@AnaA: I used milk glass as my centerpieces… I think I pulled off a pretty modern look but with a certain natural charm. Here are some shots of my tables….
