I’m looking for some recessional and prelude songs! Any suggestions? We are walking into my friend playing on the guitar Then by Brad PAisley and I’m walking into Cannon in D. We are thinking of having my friend play the guitar as the recessional and then switch to the DJ for the prelude as everyone else is leaving.

Our recessional is going to be Volcano by Jimmy Buffett. Something upbeat to start the party. Plus we’reboth Parrotheads!

@Orchd12: Ours is going to be I’m a Believer (Smash Mouth version)

We used IZ’s “Over the Rainbow / Wonderful World” for our recessional, followed by Michael Buble’s “The Best is Yet to Come.”

My friend just used “home” by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros… it was a fun choice.

We used “Why Don’t You and I” by Santana and Chad Kroeger, edited to start at the chorus.

Edited versus of Walking on Sunshine by Katrina and the Waves. Was fun 🙂

Queen! We did Crazy Little Thing Called Love, but I thought Another One Bites The Dust would have been hilarious too!

We’re doing Simple Minds, “Don’t You (Forget about Me)” for our recessional song 🙂 We’re going to get a piture of the Fiance with his fist in the air, (like from the movie The Breakfast Club)

I desperately want to use “The Light Is You” by Said the Whale – it’s soooo cute and happy! My fiance doesn’t really want to use it, because he doesn’t really know the band or have any emotional attachment to it, but now I have my heart set on it and might just make that executive decision. I don’t think he’ll notice, or if he does, I think it’ll make him make a funny face (but not really mind) that would be cute in a picture…
