I think the sweetheart neckline will be great on the dress, as for the detail change, I'd say to get a flower/feather pin or find something at the shop similar to what you want and pin it on the dress to see what it would look like. Go with whatever you think looks most like 'you'.
I think the sweetheart would work great with this dress because the fabric is already going that direction!

I agree with pink.sequins! I love it just the way it is, but the sweetheart neckline will look beautiful. Not too sure about the change of the embellishment, but I'm sure either way it will look great!
I can't picture a feather/flower embellishment with those very pretty lace details, I would only alter the neckline (love sweethearts!)
The dress is beautiful. I agree that it would be better with a sweetheart.
I've never been a fan of the blingy appliques so I'm all in favor of a flower replacement.

I def vote for the sweetheart top!! However, I would leave the embelishment that the dress already has I think it looks beautiful!
I think the sweetheart neckline would look great, but I think the current embelishment is great, I wouldn't change that myself.

I purchased my dress fulling knowing I wanted to make simple changes.
One of the major changes is a sweetheart neckline.
A new idea (and in addition) would be to change the current decoration under the bustline to a flower/feather combo.
What do you all think??
Above is the dress and a picture of the style/type of flower I want. Obviously, no birdcage veil.
