I think these need to be posted under “support” in the top left corner.

@Future_MrsReeves:  I was going to suggest that you reconsider, because there are way more kind and helpful Bees and responses than there are rude ones, but I just read your last response.

Maybe you are doing the right thing for you. You are correct.

“there seem to be just as many RUDE women with I’m-better-than-you attitudes.

That’s sad because I have had a really good experience here.

Also, can you not delete your own account? I haven’t tried but it may be an available option. Personally I find this whole thread a bit “rude” myself, but anyways…

Hope you find what you’re looking for.

@Hyperventilate:  Agreed.

@Future_MrsReeves:  There’s a very big bunch of people?  You are guaranteed some of them are going to be jerks.  Yes it sucks, but it applies anywhere online or off.  Don’t engage or respond to them, you’re just feeding them.  Even posting like this is giving them the attention they want and spending way too much of your time/attention/emotions on people that don’t deserve your time.  I absolutely love it when I see a jerky response to a post in a forum and a whole group of people go on posting and don’t even acknowledge that person posted… that’s the best response… much like in real life :).  And sometimes someone may sound jerky to you (or me) but not actually mean it that way, things are easy to misinterpret in text.

Some topics are touchier than others (again, much like real life) and I usually avoid those once they become a debate, because no one wins with opinions.

I’ve been here over a year and the Bee is really a very positive place, it’s one of the best two forums I’ve seen and I’ve been online since the BBS days.

ETA: If you really feel a post is out of line, that is what the “Flag” link is for.  It’s to the right of “(reply)” at the bottom of each post.  A box will pop up asking why you are flagging it (I forget the wording) and it needs to be a few words description… I’m guessing there’s just a character minimum but I never bothered to figure out what it was.  I do it with obvious spam (like advertisements and paragraph non-sense junk posts) and just put “spam spam spam”… cause I’m lazy and if they look at the post it’s obvious.

@Future_MrsReeves:  I’m not rude, I’m just abrasive. Rude people have the intent to make people feel bad. I don’t care that much.

@Future_MrsReeves:  Why not just stop logging in? It does seem a bit odd to post a public thread airing your grievances. Sorry to see any bees go, but you are correct, there are plenty of Bees who make rude posts or comments.

@Future_MrsReeves:

Wow, nevermind, I missed a few posts while I did my reply… mainly these:

Hyperventilate (message)    June 15, 2013   Oklahoma City

There are rude people everywhere on the internet, just FYI.

where your response is:

Future_MrsReeves (message)    September 28, 2014   Montgomery, AL

@Hyperventilate:  Ha, like you…

YOU’RE the one who is liable to get flagged.  I don’t know what happened for you to start this thread, but behaving the way you are complaining about will get you no where fast.
