So I’m the bride hanging out with my Maid/Matron of Honor best friend and the idea popped in my head that even though I’m trying to lose weight (with her help as she is a dietician) that it would be awesome if she wasn’t a size 2. No matter how much I lose I won’t get below a 10 street size and standing next to her just makes me look huge in comparison. So I’m laughing hysterically to myself that I’m really a bridezilla deep down inside. She looks at me like I’m nuts so I tell her what I just thought and that I would supply the ice cream to make her gain 40 or more lbs. She is so great she said OK!! Not like I would ever actually ask or expect it but I struggle with weight and it can be frustrating that she fits into clothes from when she was 9 years old! I can seriously see some bridezillas doing that!! We cleaned up dinner and went out for ice cream. I bought… though I should have bought her 4 scoops. 😛

I would laugh…except that some women intentionally choose “ugly” friends to make themselves look better by comparison.

@Cammotwin: Please tell me your are joking.

@Cammotwin: How can this be true? Gaining 40lbs is detrimental to one’s physical health at the very least. Preposterous.

??? She sounds like a great friend, but she wasn’t serious, right?

This is obviously a joke.
If it’s not, I give up on humanity.

Everyone, I am 99% sure it was a joke! The OP thinks it would hilariously horrible if a bride actually requested this of her Maid/Matron of Honor or bridesmaids.

@Cammotwin: Haha, that’s funny. No need for everyone to clutch their pearls, OP is joking. I’ve had dark thoughts too OP – dark thoughts!

Did people even read her post?? “Not like I would ever actually ask or expect it but I struggle with weight and it can be frustrating that she fits into clothes from when she was 9 years old! I can seriously see some bridezillas doing that!!”

@Cammotwin: …? WHy is everyone freaking out. You thought up something outrageous, and shared it with your friend. It isn’t as if you are ACTUALLY trying to fatten her up for your wedding.
Seriously people! Use your critical reading skills! Pay attention before you comment! XD

The OP says in her very first post:
Not like I would ever actually ask or expect it but I struggle with weight and it can be frustrating that she fits into clothes from when she was 9 years old! I can seriously see some bridezillas doing that!!
So I think the OP is telling us about a silly joke she and her Maid/Matron of Honor shared. Chillax, y’all.

Her post was written in a confusing way. The first 3/4 of it sound like she asked her Maid/Matron of Honor to do it. Only the last part indicates she didn’t. If she wrote in clear english there wouldn’t have been confusion.
OP, you may want to edit your post.

OP was obviously joking around with her friend. Goodness.
I say that kinda crap to my best friend. “just give me one of your boobs. Half of one would even be fine.” We always trade body parts. She gets part of my butt and some of my height if I get her green eyes and her breasties.
