This is my first post 🙂
My OH proposed on xmas day (eeeeee) and already the wedding is my every thought :-
Anyway, I have a dilemma. I have 2 best friends and no sisters. Im unsure who to ask to be maid of honor / cheif bridesmaid. Im closer to one than the other so really it should be a no brainer but best friend number 2 would get SO upset.
Best friend number 1 got married and had her sister as cheif bridsmaid, best friend number 2 is not yet married.
Or do I jus have “bridesmaids” and no titles.

Are these the only 2 girls youre going to have in your party? If so, just make them co-MOHs. If not, just follow your gut.

First, CONGRATS! How exciting 🙂
Second, I’d wait until much closer to your wedding to select any official titles. About 9 months away from the wedding is perfect, just in case any relationships change or jealousies come out, etc…
Third, you can have co-maids of honor, a maid of honor & a matron of honor, or two bridesmaids and no MOH.

The married one could be your Matron of Honor and your other friend could be your Maid of Honor. As for who stands next to you, it all depends on who you want with you until the last minute.

you could always have bf #1 matron of honor, and bf #2 maid of honor……they can both plan bachelorette party/shower/give speeches and that way they both have a title, and wont feel like they are left out! hope this helps! 🙂

There will be 4 bridesmaids (including 2 best friends) and 3 flower girls.
I think I will ask them both 🙂 thank you 🙂 and have best friend number 1 there until the end as shes “done it before”.
Thank you 🙂 xx
