Yikes, how weird... What is your relation to her? Is she your best friend? It seems so odd for someone close enough to be your MOH to just avoid all contact.
How strange... Maybe she just really can't afford it either, and I suppose that puts you at a bit of a stalemate since you already paid for it. I'm sure if this is the case she's feeling super embarrassed, and I hope it's not a friendship ending sitauation.
@Ms Bookworm: Yeah, she's my best friend. It also doesn't help that she's in SC and I'm in MD. I just don't get it. Why lie about it, you know? I even told her in November she could pay me back in payments if that was easier for her.
I'd say call her up /e mail her and ask her outright if she can't afford the dress. Maybe then you could agree to go 50/50?

My MOH didn't have the money to pay for her dress when I ordered them. She said she'd be able to pay me for it by the end of the year (2011), so I went ahead and paid for it. She STILL hasn't paid for it. She has the dress too. First it was that her paycheck was short, then it was she didn't have checks (she refuses to use paypal), then it was she had to send her checks back because they forgot something on them. Now she won't even answer my calls or emails. I don't even know what to do at this point. We can't afford to eat the cost of her dress, especially since she has it.
