my BM is pregnant and is due two weeks after the wedding. Unfortunately she lives in Hawaii and won't be able to fly to make it to the wedding....so I'm sad about that......BUT I'm going to be a godmother again.. (I'm the godmother to her 1st and now I will be to her 2nd!) Very excited for her!
One of my BM's is trying to get pregnant, and I really hope it happens for them soon! They really deserve it! I'm so happy you're excited for her! I see too many brides get mad about these things.
My MOH is pregnant! Which works out perfectly b/c we have to find her a maternity dress, but that's ok b/c the MOH can have a different dress!
I have a BM who will be about 8 months pregnant at my wedding. I was completely ecstatic for her when she told me! I can't wait to meet her littler one... I'm certain he/she will be gorgeous!! :)
I have a bridesmaid who is pregnant and will be 7 months when we get married. She is also my future sister-in-law. This is her and her husband's first baby, so my fiance and I are super excited to welcome our beautiful little niece in June when she arrives. :)
I'm so happy because it is in part attending her wedding and watching her relationship grow, one of the healthiest I've seen in our age group, which made FI and I know we wanted that one day. We knew at her wedding we wanted that and now she's having a baby! FI and I are like two years behind her so maybe that is ahead of us. Plus, how can you not be excited? Not that I don't like all the attention on me but she admitted she is a little jealous of all the attention the bride gets and now she can have her own kind of attention.
My BM is pregnant with twins -- due a couple of months before the wedding. I'm so excited for her, but I'll admit to being slightly relieved that the babies will be born before the wedding, because I really do want her with me on the day. But this will be brilliant for everyone.
My MOH is trying to get pregnant...she's been told there's a chance she can't conceive, so I really really hope it works out. My wedding is 4.5 months away, so she and I are trying to figure out what to do about her dress for the wedding - she might or might not be pregnant, might or might not be showing. We'll probably get her one with an empire waist about a size too big...that way there's room for her to grow, and we can alter it down if she doesn't end up needing the extra space!
She was so sweet....she called me up to ask if I was okay with the fact that she and her husband were "trying," and wanted to consult me on when/how to notify the family about her pregnancy so as not to steal "my day." I'm just so flippin excited for a little one to join the family (she's my cousin) - we haven't had a baby in forever! Anyway, I thought it was really considerate of her and I of course told her I'm thrilled beyond belief and if anything, it'll make the wedding more special if she's expecting.
These are all great stories.. I would be very excited for all your people also! That was soo sweet of your friends to call and ask if it was OK they didn't want to steal your day! One friend told me that, then the other was a you know what telling me i needed to cater to her and accomidate her with all my wedding plans because she plans on getting pregnant around that time... I was kind of annoyed because god forbid at her wedding, if we had a hair out if place, we were trying to ruin "her day", but yet, the only reason why she wants another baby right now (which is the stuppiest reason in the world) is because she wants to have some attention doesn't want me to have my day. Yea, some friend I KNOW!~ no way to get rid of her either i have known her wayyy to long lol lol
That is so considerate she called and asked if it was ok farmersdaughter! My MOH has been trying for about a year and I actually thought she stopped trying but then what do you know!? A test finally came out positive! She is going ot be very pregnant but I couldn't be more proud. I just hope she feels up to the bridal shower ect.
No I don't have a pregnant MOH, but I wouldn't mind if she got pregnant as long as she was able to fit into the bridesmaid dress..
Me too! My MOH just told me last week, and she's still trying to figure it all out. She's estimated to be 4-5 weeks. She tried on the dress yesterday and it fits now, but tight around the chest, and those will def grow in a couple of months, so she will have to have the dress let out. And yes, I'm def planning on a spa day before wedding.
That's awesome! I'm glad you're being supportive, too - some people go kind of crazy!
I have this really funny feeling FSIL will get pregnant around the time we get married. I don't know why, but I've always imagined she will.

Found out today and I am so happy! She's been trying for almost a year now. AND...my wedding is 9 months away! She is going to be due right before the wedding! Guess we'll have to do a spa day for the Bach party! Anyone else have a pregnant MOH?
