My MOH is my older sister! We've always been really close and I couldn't imagine it any other way. I guess technically I haven't asked her yet, she just knows LOL.
This is my gorgeous MOH!! Our parents were neighbors before we were born, so we were lucky enough to grow up together (been best friends for 20 years and counting!).. She's in all of my childhood memories, as well as my teenage and adult ones, and now we are closer than ever.. We're so close that not everybody understands our dynamic, and a lot of people think we're really weird, but she brings out the fun in me and I don't know what I'd do without her!!
I'm on the left and she's on the right.. Sorry about the quality, it's a webcam photo..

And here's one of us as kids.. I love it!! Our bathing suits are to die for lol..

My Matron of Honor is my big sister and my Maid of Honor is my friend, Kimberly. I love them both to death.
Maid and I

Matron (8 months pregnant with my nephew)

I have a MAN OF HONOR. =) We met in English class during our sophomore year in high school. I did not like him at first because I thought he was full of himself but we had several other classes throughout high school and I found out he was really a cool guy! We went to the same university but did not talk during our freshman year because we hung out w/ different crowds. We were “trying other things”, I guess. We reconnected our sophomore year and have been friends ever since. We are each other’s cheer leading squad. We are there for each other through thick and thin. We have gotten mad at each other, cried in front of each other, etc. (Even though the 1st time I cried over my 1st bf while in college --- being a guy who was kinda “icky” with feelings --- all he could say was “Umm…want some cookie?”. That made me stop crying and I just started laughing while tears were going down my face at the same time.) We were w/ each other through bf/gf break ups, I cheered him on and helped him plan his proposal to his fiancé, we counsel each other about family/friends issues, even talked about farts & other TMI stuff w/ each other. (Yes, he is not ashamed to pick up tampons for us girls during “emergencies”.) He’s the coolest dude ever and I’m glad he will be there to support me during my wedding. =)
My MOH is one of my best friends from high school. She was a grade above me and went to Canada for university. I didn't see her for a few years but we kept in touch as often as we could and she suddenly went to Oxford (which is only about a 2 hour drive from London) for a year! So we reconnected and spent a lot of time together. I just asked her over Facebook, lol, I'd never heard of giving people cards or things until I joined WB and that was after I had already asked, ah well!
Awesome pics everyone!
@armywife-i am loving the bathing suit picture! TOO ADORABLE
@prncsdva-had you always planned on having a matron and maid? Thats a good idea!
@hazel-how cool! He is still a MOH! hahaha
Cabana, since my big sis got married, yes. I knew that would make room for me to have one of my friends too :)
I picked my twin sister. Enough said! lol.
Here she is trying to model her dress, even though it came in a little small. Gotta love her enthusiasm!
My Maid of Honor is best friend Ariana! We have have been best friends since 5th grade when I moved to FL from NJ (11 Years ago!) We have been through a lot together but we are always there for each other! Here is us!
My MOH is my sister!!! We used to fight like crazy when we were younger but have gotten really close when I was in college already. I think our five year age difference wasn't so much of a difference anymore (she is older). Love, love, love my one and only sister and I would not get married if she can't be my MOH. I didn't have to ask her to be my MOH, it was just understood. She didn't ask me to be her MOH either, when she got married 4 years ago, but it was understood that I was gonna be the MOH.
No pics, ladies. Sorry, I'm at work :)
I don't have an MOH. The boy and I decided to forgo the maid of honor and best man. We just have three bridemaids and three groomsmen.
If I did choose an MOH, it would've been my sister. This is her on the right (I'm on the left, our mom is in the middle):

@ cabanagrl9 - you are 100% correct, I don't know where I would be w/out my MOH. My MOH is my sister. She and I are 10 yrs apart and have always been very very close.
The below picture is: FI - MOH - then me on the right

I have two MOHs! We've been friends since forever, since we wore stretch pants and not because it was cool. Here's me with my two wonderful MOHs! (I'm on the far right).

I asked my best friend Nadia to be my maid of honor. We have known each other for like 10 years we go all the way back to high school..
Here's a pic of me and my moh Nadia from many years ago. I'm the one on the left side:
LOVE this post!! My MOH and I have been best friends since the 6th grade also! She is seriously like a sister to me, love her so! MOST of my memories growing up include her lol I love the last one, it's us singing our fav song together.. Rick James "give it to me baby" haha yes.. it's a MUST play at the wedding :0)

My Matron of honor is my older sister who without her my wedding wouldn't be half as much fun....I love her and couldn't picture anyone else next to me on my big day!!
@cabanagrl9: Thanks!! I love looking at old photos of us, you can really see how we've grown over the years but we always stayed so close.. I'm lucky to have her :)
Here's a picture of my MOH Tracy and I. She's on the right, and she is a million different kinds of beautiful:
ETA: I think I'm the only person on weddingbee that can't get the pics to work. Well, trust me, she's gorgeous!
I picked my best friend from high school. We were wrestling managers together our senior year and have been super close since, even though she moved to spain for a year! She is the best!!!! She lives in Wisconsin too, but is coming up the week before our wedding to help with everything and throw me some parties! :) I don't have a pic with her at work though :( so i'll post one later!

Next to the bride, groom, and parents I think the MOH is the next most important person in the wedding party! So lets hear it for the girls! (or boys!) Who did you guys pick and why? Did you do anything special to ask her/him? Stories and pics ladies! :)
This is my MOH and best friend Allison. We have been best friends since the 6th grade (18yrs?)! We even won the best friends award our senior year of high school! We have lived in 2 different cities for 5 years now, but we still talk every single day. I couldnt picture my world w/o her! She is my bff :)
The first picture is of her holding her custom made Eat n' Park (for any Pittsburghers out there) cookie and the 2nd is one of the 2 of us.
