Mines from MoissaniteCo and I had an AMAZING experience! I emailed them like daily with a million questions and they always got back with me quickly and even offered to send me a wax mold of my prospective setting since I was so worried about the width! I ordered my stone first to make sure I loved it, then sent it back to have it set in my dream setting!! I absolutely adore my ring!
Heres a pic of my stone when it came in:
And heres my finished ring!
EDIT: Its nice that you have seen a Moissy in real life! Isnt in sparkly? :)
Thank you so much. I was looking on the site at the Amora Moissanite. When you order do you have to tell them you want the Amora stone? Also I was wanting a 1.3ct so is that a 6mm in stone size? Sorry for so many questions. ha Your ring is so pretty. I have been looking for a long long time now. I like the fact that a moissanite is an actual stone even if it is not a diamond. I would have no problem telling people it is NOT a diamond but a moissanite. Very beautiful!
Moissanite only comes in intervals of .25 carat equivalents in the round cut stone. You could go with 7mm (1.25) or 7.5mm (1.5 carat equivalent. If you order a ring sizer from moissaniteco, they send you a size chart for the stones too.
After much research...Just received my 8x5 (1.5ct) Oval Amora Moissanite. super pleased, I dont think you would be disappointed in the Amora upgrade. Here are some pics and videos..good luck in your quest!

I decided on a princess cut Amora 1.3 and received it yesterday. I am so pleased with it. It is absoultely stunning. The only draw back is it is a little too big. Will any jeweler be able to resize it and how long does this normally take? I hate having to leave it somewhere. I don't even want to take it off.
I have a Tiffany replica solitaire with a 1.5ct enhanced moissy (not Amora). It's gorgeous, I love it!

I can relate! I've lost weight now mine spins on my finger, too loose. I'm nervous about taking it anyplace and dont want to part with it. I was thinking of possibly finding some sort of ring ball or clamp of sorts to help with the sizing issue
I have a 1.4 ct cushion unenhanced moissy, And I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The stone was orderced through www.moissaniteco.com which, was a breeze for my fiancee. he ordered it for me f or ChristmasI am soooooooooooooooooo happy with it its gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!or my
@Tams1016: !! i just got my ring from moissaniteco, and it is a half size too big. i compared it to the ring sizer on their website and it is larger than a 6, and i ordered 5.75. so we are sending it back in. :( :(
OH MY GOD, SEEING IT IN PERSON FOR THE FIRST TIME BLEW ME AWAY. I'M IN LOVE.
Just thought I would add a video link of the 1.5ct I got in the mail yesterday. I'm thinking about returning it or at least exchanging it for an "enhanced" one ($300 difference) because her ring is a three stone setting and the two side stones (diamonds) are whiter/colorless-er. I'm afraid it will clash since it's got a bit of a yellow hue to it in certain lighting. In the SUN however it is georgious!
Watch it in FULLSCREEN 1080P HD it definitely looks better:
Here what it looks like under natural light in my house, so different from direct sunlight (video above)
Mine is a 1ct oval Moissantie center with a diamond double halo and split pave band. 1.37 total, including the wedding band. Size 7 for scale :) I would say the color rating is probably a K, it only looks pale yellow in natural sun light, almost to the point where it would be sold as a fancy yellow... The color doesn't bother me, I think it make the ring look a little more interesting. If you are expecting a pure white go with the enhanced moissanite. I ordered thought MoissaniteCo after reading a lot of good reviews here, I ordered Sunday morning with the free 2-3 day FedEx Express option, it shipped Tuesday, and it arrived Friday. When I took my ring to have to stone set the jeweler asked where I ordered my diamond from :)
Sorry the pictures are so huge and wavy, dang camera phone :)

Here's my moissy ring!
It's 2 carets, round cut, and not Amora/treated.
Sometimes it looks gray/yellow, but usually it's bright and clear. We went with moissaniteco.com and were extremely pleased. I love how friggin' bright it is-- I can angle it and catch the sun to blind my fiance when he's driving.

@sapipa177: Wow, I'm so surprised at the loose stone! Is that enhanced? Mine never looks like that indoors!
@Tams1016: Hi Tammy, just realized this thread is a few months old. Fiance ordered from moissaniteco.com and it was very seamless. My ring is so pretty, and I get a lot of compliments on it. I would opt for the enhanced (amora) stones. I saw some unenhanced in person (kind of pulled a weird greenish gray, ew) before I decided on enhanced.

If you want to love your engagement ring forever, buy a moissanite. But save yourself my experience and do NOT buy from Moissanite Co.
My engagement stone chipped twice in the year that I was engaged.
My wedding band was poorly finished on the back - the join between a smooth and textured piece was uneven.
The customer service was terrible. They said I could buy a new stone and that I could not talk to a supervisor; if I didn't like my options, I could go elsewhere.
If they'd even been kind enough to say "wow, we're sorry" I would have felt better. I understand stones chip (although 2x in a year for something as hard as a diamond seems very problematic), but this is my engagement ring - I want it to last longer than a year - and some kindness would have been helpful.
Re nwchick78's post, please see our reply below:

Sigh - go read the above reply, but know it's the nicer, warmer & fuzzier version - there was no apology, no I'm sorry this has happened, just no you can't talk to a supervisor and you must be trying to screw us out of a new stone.
Just so sad all around. :( :( :(
Does anyone know of another Moissanite company they do trust?? Cause I will still need to get my ring repaired, I just don't dare send it to this company.
Both my original engagement ring and my makeover ring were purchased from Moissaniteco and I LOVE them!
Here's my original:
Here's the same centerstone after it's makeover

nwchick78, in the future when you make a large purchase perhaps you should read the warranty and get your purchase insured. Doing those two things would have prevented a lot of heartache. You also should have taken Moissaniteco up on the discounted stone. That's a very generous offer.
@nwchick78: I'm genuinely sorry to hear about what happened to your stone. I would be very upset if my stone chipped too. But I think this can happen with any moissanite stone, not just the ones MoissaniteCo sell. After all, they all come from the same place. I also don't imagine any other distributor of moissanite offering a free exchange or repair service (at least for the stone) outside of the warranty period, so I think you'd find the same response regardless of where you bought your moissanite. Whether you feel they weren't courteous to you in the their communcation is a different story. I agree that all companies should be sensitive to their customers regardless of what they can and can't do for them.
On the other hand, it's odd that your stone would chip twice in one year when I've not heard of many brides chipping their stones (although I know it's possible and it does happen, of course). Unless you're doing some extremely heavy duty activities whilst wearing your ring, I wonder if you could get in touch with C & C and raise your concern that you may have ended up with a "dud" stone, as it were.
Thanks Jezika! I was really sad my stone chipped - I guess I can both understand that's possible, but be really confused over how it would chip twice in a year. :(
If they'd been nice I would have definitely paid to get a new stone, etc. But once they were unkind, I was too afraid to trust them. :(
(I kind of think they're also potentially posting under other names, as some of the posts sound very similar and very much like the same things they said in some of their communication with me - I'm not sure if that's allowed?)
hello girls!! can you guyes help me with some some advice... today my boyfriend will place the order for my ering. I finally decided to go for the round halo legacy in a 1.24 ct...but I talked to the sales person and I told them that I think the size of the side stones are waay to small they are 1mm, and they are going to do it with 1.3mm it is still very petite but I will feel more comfortable with the stones a bit bigger...he said that it would not affect negatively the beauty of the ring. So I think I am gonna go for it!... what do you think???
this is the ring I will order...

@6598731ssfse3: I know ths is an old thread, but can I see more pictures of your ring? Thats if you dont mind. I love it.
@pangyang0309: I don't know which one you're asking about, but here ya go! :-)

Three stone:
@ChaniePop: Sorry - Just now saw this. Yes both settings and all of the stones were purchased from Moissaniteco.com
I love my ring! It's a 1ct moissanite set in an antique setting from Moissaniteco. The setting was made from a dye from between the 17th-19th centuries. I didn't get the stone enhanced because i love yellows and greens and i didn't mind if it was slightly tinted. You can tell it's a extremely faint yellow in intense sunlight, but that's about it. It's as clear as could be still, no cloudines. When you get the stone under flourescent lighting, it sparkles like crazy and shoots off rainbows in all directions. I've never, ever seen a stone sparkle like this one. Diamonds to not compare. Moissanite rates as a 9.25 on Mohr's hardness scale, which makes it the 2nd hardest substance known to man. Therefore, it will last forever like a diamond. Heck, it's even better than i diamond since it's refractive and dispersion properties are much greater.
Here is my ring:

Here's my moissy ring. The ring is all one piece, with a portion that looks like a "wedding band" which I will flip to the inside once we are married. This is a 1.3ct/6.5mm cushion FB moissy with 3mm radiant side stones. The band portion includes a 4mm radiant, 2x3mm radiant, and 2x2.5mm radiant stones. All C&C Forever Brilliant. Total Carat weight is 2+. It's a custom piece made by an artist in Tennessee, and I LOVE it! :)

My BF and I have been looking for diamond alternatives for a while now. I have looked at better than diamonds and the asha but if I am understanding right that is basically just a CZ. My best friend has a moissanite ring and it is so beautiful. I am really leaning towards a tiffany solitaire with the stone being moissanite. I have looked at moissaniteco on-line and some other on-line options. I am nervous about places an order on-line without knowing what some of you have experienced. Can you please let me know what would be the best place to order from and if you are happy with your ring. Any help would be great.
Thanks,
Tammy
