Here is mine – 2.2 center cushion cut. I upgraded to the brilliant and am so glad I did. You cant tell the difference and it is AMAZING. I litterally cant stop staring at my hand! 🙂 <br />I chose cushion only for the simple fact I liked it the best. I liked that it was not full round and not full princess (square) it is in the middle. I have received SO many compliments since I got mine (which was a week ago today)

I say DEF. go for a moissy 2ct! I have ZERO regrets!

I have had 3 cuts. Round cushion and OEC

Round….was pretty but too modern for my taste but it faces up huge and has little glittery sparkles

Cushion….was gorgeous but too white for me

OEC….perfect and is buttery warm (so if ur looking for a white stone IDK if you would like OEC) the faucets are huge and chunky

I have a round brilliant, but like another bee said, it’s a splintery, glittery sparkle.  It works for me because I have a “smaller” moissy (6mm/0.75 ct).  I’ve had mine for over 4 years now.  I think the larger stones (i.e. 1ct+) look great as OECs.

bpenisson:  Finger is size 5….the OEC is really gorgeous, my favorite cut from them by far!

Oec is 1.5 ct

Cushion is 1.4 ct

RB is 1 ct

bpenisson: My moissanite ring is square brilliant cut, my husband chose it because he likes square cuts. I love it, it’s very sparkly!

bpenisson:  I don’t have a pic but I have a round moissy. I think no matter what cut you choose, having a hand-picked stone that has great color and is cut well makes the biggest difference. Mine was hand-picked by Beth from Joseph Schubach Jewelers. I’ve heard great things about moissaniterus from ebay and Poppyseed from Amcor too. A lot of people have and love beautiful MoissaniteCo rings and I’ve heard that they will hand-pick too if requested.

I picked round because its faces up whitest and is most brilliant. I wanted a bright sparkler lol and I love it. Cushions also face up very white, from what I understand. OEC’s are yummy, a bit warmer than round and cushion and common consensus is that they are the most diamond like. If you see Slick’s perfect OEC you’ll see how amazing they can be and why so many love them! I guess all in all you just have to pick which one meets your needs/wants because all of them are gorgeous.

I prefer OECs, ovals, and cushions.  I have also had rounds, a radiant, and a pear.  I love the pear too,  but mine is blue.  It would not be the best colour in the pear cut, so I only recommend that if you colour enhance it.

bpenisson:  Thanks :), my sidestones are all diamonds (we go through a small local jeweler that recycles old jewelry) because it was actually less expensive lol.
