What does a moissanite look lke next to a Diamond. I have a diamond engagement and wedding band, but my fiance wanted to get me an eternity ring when our first child is born and i have seen a moissanite band. would the fire in a moissanite take away from the diamond. should i look for a ruby or emerald band instead?
if anyone has combined the two can i see a pic?

@ChocolateLime: there are a few threads about it, but I’m not sure where to find them…the advice I’ve seen before is to make sure that your diamond is the right color/fire, so that it still looks sparily next to the moissanite. Good luck!

smaller moissanite stones — such as the ones that go into eternity bands — look totally white. you don’t see color in moissanite until they get into the bigger sizes (like, bigger than .5ct, I believe).
below is a link to my diamond e-ring next to a 2mm moissanite eternity band. for reference, the diamond is a G or H in color. I can’t tell the difference between the two in any light.

I have a moissanite e-ring and a diamond/sapphire wedding band and it all blends just fine. The diamonds and the side moissanite stones are small enough that they just look like a bunch of pretty sparkly stones!
