I don’t have a Moissanite but i do have a diamond bezel-set solitaire and I LOVE it. Mine is an A.Jaffe that looks JUST like the third one below but without the stones on the shank (I think I have a picture on this computer if you want to see it). It’s so classic-looking with a slightly modern twist and they’re super practical, which is definitely nice since I’m kind of clumsy. Are you looking for solitaires or halos?

I think these are my top three bezel settings from MoissaniteCo (in order)

@BRT: I loveeee that one!! There’s something very delicate about the thinner bezel, it’s just like the Tiffany Bezet. I agree, halos were just a bit too popular and trendy for my taste.

My ring’s a size 6 and the center stone is about 1.5ct, the shank on my ring is 2mm. The bezel does hide a tiny bit of the stone, so up close it looks a little bit smaller than it would if it were prong-set.We don’t actually have a wedding band yet, but we’re custom ordering something like this in a 3/4 eternity (so it can be sized) 0.75CTW ~2.5mm

ETA: Apologies for the ginormous pictures!!

@BRT: Thank you! Smile Yea, I think 1.5ct is a pretty good size. Because bezels are set so low, I think you can even go a bit larger than you normally would and not get the feeling that it’s too large on your finger for everyday wear (for better or for worse depending on what you’re looking for!) But I really like that band. I tried something like that on and went back and forth between that one and the one we’re ordering. Gorgeous choice!

Good luck with your decision, I don’t think you’ll regret getting that bezel if that’s what you decide. Please come back and post pictures when you finally get the ring!

There’s a bee that owns the bezette ring you’re looking at.  http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/any-bees-with-bezel-set-rings

Here are her comments on it:

Has anyone bought a ring from moissaniteco.com?

Hope it doesn’t look like I’m stalking her posts.  lol.  This ring’s been on my wishlist for a while, so I’ve been searching for as many examples of it on real people as possible.  Dreaming of it in blue.  🙂  Unsure yet whether I’d prefer the 3/4 or 1 ct.

Here are more examples.

Anyways, hope this is helpful!  It looks like a gorgeous simple but elegant ring.  🙂

I have the MoissaniteCo bezette ring!!!

I completely love having a bezel setting – I am always digging around in my purse, flailing my hands around – it never snags or gets caught on anything. I don’t wear very much jewelry, so I wanted something that wasn’t super flashy. I love, love, love having a bezel setting – simple and modern without being too plain. I get a lot of compliments on it, bezel settings don’t seem to be super common and I like that it’s kind of unusual.

The bezel setting does cover up a fair amount of the stone, so it can seem a little smaller than the same stone in a prong setting, but the bezel itself does seem to add a little bit of width when you’re looking at it from directly above. My ring size is 7.5 and we went with a 1ct equivalent moissanite. I measured the shank a while ago, and I think it was 1mm, not 1.5, but I could have been mistaken. I love how thin the shank is!

I put a couple of quick photos of my ring in the gallery, in case you want to have a look. Good luck with whatever you choose!
