(Closed) Moissanite bigger than diamond?

I think maybe diamonds cut can vary… so two 1ct diamonds can each have a different diameter.  Diamond carats measure the weight of the diamond, but moissanite is only the diamond equivalent since they weigh differently than diamonds, so they’re only copying the size so all 1ct moissanites will be the exact same measurement across the top (like 6.5 mm for 1ct I think?)

I’m sorry if that was confusing… I’m not the best at describing things (you should see me trying to give directions!)

Yeah, moissanites are not actually measured by carat in the same way that diamonds are, so they just give you the dimension and what size of diamond would have similar dimensions. The 1ct diamonds may actually be slightly smaller as far as face-up measurements. Also, different cuts look bigger or smaller depending on t he cut.
