What size stones are you looking for, for you band?  Because you could get baguettes in moissy, and that would match your ring better than radiants I think.  Depending on the colour of  your diamonds now, moissy may or may not match.  But, it is durable.

You should insure your ring with Jewelers Mutual though. It covers damage, as well as loss, and their premuims are very reasonable.

oh, ok.  I get it now.  🙂   Well, radiants are a warmer cut.  And yes, they are rectangular like ECs, they are totally different looking.  But if that is what you think you want, maybe order one loose first.  A radiant was my very first moissanite, but I sent it back after 2 days,  It was yellow.

There are enty of ways to insure your ring.  before spending the money to buy something else, you should talk to your insurance agent.  All of my jewelry, over $500, is on our personal articles policy.  You can also look into a rider on your homeowner’s policy.

Ninebones:  awwww, thank you.  I *have* seen a lot of moissy, but I think it is always best for people to view it themselves in person, and play with it in different lighting.

no, it was not FB.  It was before FB.  But FB lightens stones2-3 grades…  and even then, it would have been yellow.

I have a radiant cut FB and it is pretty white 90% of the time. Yes sometimes there is a small yellow tinge but honestly, I don’t notice it unless I stare VERY hard at it.

Here are some photos: 8x6mm radiant FB moissanite in a halo setting. Size 5.5 finger for reference. <br />

mzwiggy:  Not at all!  I love moissanite!  and have plenty.  🙂  I just think everyone needs to see it for themselves.  My radiant was from 3 years ago, and moissy has gotten a lot better since then.  Joe would know better than I would… he sees it every single day.  But I am also very colour sensitive.

My fav is babrely pink colour enhanced.  But for white… I would probably always go with FB just for added whiteness…  But my unenhanced was pretty close in colour to my FB.
