I’m thinking about getting an eternity ring as a RHR and I also want a less expensive stand in for my ering for our trip to Europe this summer, so I’m thinking moissanite. Does anyone have any thoughts on moissanite? And also where is the best place to buy from? Enhanced/unenhanced? Size of stones that look small enough to be reasonable but still big enough to sparkle?

I think moissanite’s a great choice for a RHR, though a bit expensive for a stand-in ering. For a stand-in I’d go with a cheaper option like cz or lab created sapphire. For an eternity, I’d recommend either Schubach’s or Moissanite Co. Bees and women on the Better Than Diamond boards both generally have good reviews of both places. As for stone size, it depends on taste. For a standalone eternity ring that’s not too big but looks good on its own, I’d recommend 3mm-4mm.

@lazybee123: Please google “moissanite weddingbee” and you’ll find TONS of reading to do! I have a 1/2c Moissanite e-ring and I just ordered a 1.25c Moissanite anniversary ring from MoissaniteCo.
Bees, let’s remember to keep the M vs. D fighting to a minimum! We’re all friends here!

Here’s my moissanite eternity ring. I wear it on my left hand as my wedding band, but it could easily be an RHR. I got it at moissaniteco.com

Thanks guys! I’m looking at moissanite because I think it’s a cool option and want something that will last longer than a cz ring… I’ll look at moissaniteco!
