At the 4ct size, if colour is going to be an issue for you, go for FB RB. It will still show some body colour, but the RB cut minimizes the soft buttery tones that OEC’s are known for. Get an OEC only if you love the vintage cut and can deal with a stone that is likely in the L-M range.

BlushingBride22:  Wow, go big or go home! Lol! Yes, I think the RB might be better for you if you are trying to avoid color, though in that size I hear you can still see some. Just be prepared! For what it’s worth, I have a 1.5c OEC FB moissy and I can see some color sometimes and I asked for a very small culet which I can’t even see unless I take a close up pic of it. I’m kinda bummed because now I want a BIGGER culet, but oh well.

BlushingBride22:  It’s not supposed to get cloudy ever or get dirty quickly like CZs do (or so I hear). As for realistic… realistic like a diamond? If that’s the case you should get a diamond. Moissanite is its very own stone with its very own qualities, such as it shows some color, which I love. You can order a loose stone to check it out, that’s what some Bees have done.

You can easily have a beautiful engagement ring that no one would know was a CZ if it is a 5A rated cubic zirconia (best CZ and most indistinguishable to diamonds) Highly suggest you do have a gold band instead of sterling silver, as SS can eventually fade if you wear it ever day! Here are some 5A CZ Engagement Rings!

*Only purchase from a store that offers a money back guarantee and has great ratings!
