That ring was actually in my top 3 but I ended up with a plain solitaire instead! Its a super gorgeous setting, you can’t go wrong!

@Charming Thoughts:  Do more elaborate settings take away from the impact of the center stone?

I think they do. I’ve always thought the center stone sort of gets “lost” in wider shanks. If it was my choice, I would go with a thinner, daintier setting or a larger center stone to balance out the extra width. I’m only saying this because you asked for opinions, and I don’t mean to offend anyone. Even if you choose to go with exactly what you described, it will still be lovely, just not my taste. By the way, the detail on the setting is beautiful.

@Charming Thoughts:  I dont know the reason why you haven’t seen the more elaborate settings for moissanite on WB, however if you head over to betterthandiamond.com you will see in the Moissanite message boards more elaborate designs for moissanite. It doesnt take away from the stone or anything like that, I dont think at all!

My fiance bought a solitaire Moissanite on ebay from a reputable company and had it set at a local jewler.
I love it! and would never want a diamond…
the whole thing was under 1,000
