I am a Canadian Bee who has only recently (thanks to wedding boards) discovered Moissanite. I’d like to see it in person and it is NOT easy to find in Canada (Toronto).
We are travelling to Vegas at the end of the month and I am wondering if there is any chance my fellow Vegas Bees might be able to recommend any jewellers that carry Moissanite (preferably close to the Strip).
Thanks in advance for any suggestions anyone can provide!!!

@Vsmart: Slightly off topic but I’m a fellow Torontonian here and I’ve heard that there are a couple carriers! The selection won’t be great but at least you can see what the stone looks like. I once saw some in the display at one of the pawn shops on Yonge right across from the Eaton Centre.
I think there’s a place in Ryerson that carries moissanite…but they may be dealers and not open to the public. And I think there’s a place up in Richmond Hill…Highway 7 and Leslie, maybe, that carries moissanite.
Have fun on your trip and I hope someone will be able to answer your question! 😀

Oh this is great. Thanks…I work downtown so perhaps I will check out those locations and see.
How did you find them originally?

@Vsmart: MCo is not the actual name of the company–just the website. I don’t think they have a store front, but they are out of Vegas, and you can try googling “Fire Cut Diamonds Las Vegas” and see if anything comes up.

I’m in Toronto and it only cost me ~$20 to ship my moissanite back to MoissyCo (Amora moissy insured for full $600 value). It may be worthwhile to order a loose stone to look at in your home, and in different environments. If I had seen moissy in natural light and in my jeweller’s office, I would have kept the stone, but seeing how temperamental it was throughout the day made me realize it was not for me.
