I’m no help but I despretally looked for filigree wedding bands and LOVE the look of antique  looking rings.  Your ring will look beautiful.

I have ReneeI would say that mine is very durable, despite the thin band.  I was worried about my wedding ring rubbing against the filigree and it rubbing off, but that has not been a problem yet.  Also, you can send your ring back for maintenaince–so I’m not too worried. =)

@emwedding13:  I don’t have one, but I remember reading on the BTD forum that they use authentic antique molds to make them. So I imagine the moissyco antique rings would wear exactly like actual antique rings, as they are made the same way.

That same post also mentioned that customers are sometimes disappointed with the antique rings. Apparently they are much lighter weight than people expect, because they are authentic, but customers are expecting only the antique look, with a modern feel.

@emwedding13:  Thanks! The band I actually got from Kay’s. I was somewhere around 300 or 350. I hope you get what you are hoping for!

happycamburn:  more pics of the Renee antique ring please. I’m in love with this ring but need more close up or details on the old European cut. Thank you
