Blackrabbit:  Hello! The reason that pear cuts in moissanite are so hard to come by is because most of them are not very pretty. Most of them have large bowties in the middle and because of the cut, show a lot of warmth and color, even when enhanced.

Have you considered a pear cut Asha? Here is a picture of a bee’s moissanite pear below.

You can also see a brief thread about moissanite pears here: http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/pear-cut-moissanite/

Here’s another link to Etsy where you can see all the different moissanite pear engagement rings: https://www.etsy.com/search?q=pear%20moissanite%20engagement%20ring&ref=auto1

Blackrabbit:  You’re not alone at all! A lot of people love the warmth of moissanite. I got a canary moissanite myself. I just wasn’t sure your reasons for getting a moissanite 🙂 I highly suggest SAMnSUE on Etsy. Their pieces are breathtaking! Get whatever you love, because that’s all that really matters 🙂

Blackrabbit:  thanks! I wish it was bigger! I like the warmth too. On the C&C website they don’t show actual pics of the stone so I was really nervous waiting for it to arrive but I do really like it, and the price was right! It was on sale for $299 and my jeweler was trying to charge me 4k for a .9 H color pear diamond pendant. So yea, I’m a moissy convert!! get yourself one! I’m hooked!

Blackrabbit:  Here are the rings from Moissanite.com that are already set with pears. You could always buy a loose pear and pick your own setting!
