@ceebree:  Oh we got this! No worries. I don’t have a moissy yet but it is in the future. I have an asha, which I love. I’m thinking once I really settle on a ring I must have than we will get my moissy. I keep coming back to the same one so I think I know 🙂

This is what I want in rose gold with either a 7.5 or 8 mm stone

I hate hen things get closed in the middle of a reply! So frustrating!

Hehe, good luck! No sarcasm, truly.

My wedding band has 10 tiny moissanites in it. I chose moissanite because it’s clear, sparkly, durable, and much cheaper than diamond. It’s a pretty cool thing!

@Little_Hedgy:  I love that setting, I’m obsessed with the sneaky hidden halo type settings.  It will be beautiful in rose gold!

I had seen Moissanite mentioned on a makeup forum, one of the members had gotten one from her FI and was showing it off.  This was years before FI and I were engaged, so when the time came and I was trying to figure out what that stone was called some googling is what led me to the Bee.

@ceebree:  I think diamonds and moissanites are both equally beautiful!

I have a 1.4 ct eq. cushion FB moissanite center set in the T&Co Soleste Design. I absolutely love the look of T&Co and own lots of their sterling silver jewelry and also 2 of their black onyx pieces. I knew before the bee I was going to get moissanite after a coworker got one. It allowed us to get engaged sooner than we expected to since it didn’t break our piggy bank.

Here’s my comparison

T&Co Soleste Stock Photo:

Cost for 1.5 ct center in this setting at T&Co = $27,100

Now ENG225 Tiffany Soleste Replica from MoissaniteCo.com stock photos

Cost with the 1.4 Forever Brilliant center moissanite + setting = $1,920.00

Actual picture of my MoCo ring

I love the claw prongs on the T&Co ring that the MoCo ring doesn’t have. MoCo does do custom work, but I didn’t really think about having that added.

Grand total in price difference: $25,180

I personally don’t like moissy’s too much (they sparkle to much for my liking) but for those who love them, show them off!  Honestly I have lots of respect for someone who buys them for any reason from financial to those owning a lab-created gemstone to avoid purchasing blood stones.  Oh and please keep posting your rings, they are all gorgeous!

@mrsmay07:  i have been in love for like a year now!! the other top contender is a replica of Tacori’s Danatella in rose gold. but the setting costs as much as the whole moisco ring so i have a hard time justifying it.

@ceebree:  How is it negative?  I hate emeralds and to tell you the truth I also don’t like diamonds much (I love sapphires), its simply my personal likes/dislikes.  I’m saying its just not my cup of tea but I fully support people who do love them and I consider them gemstones.

@Jabberwocky:  For those who love sparkle I think moissonites are the perfect stone.  They are very brilliant and have a very lovely fire to them.  I think it adds to their charm.

@Ettalie:  I was just teasing, I promise.  I know everyone likes different kinds of sparkle.

Now I really want some triple fudge brownies though…
