Hey Bees, so I found these shoes online that I really want to buy for my wedding. I’m not getting married till July 2014 so I do have sometime to keep looking.
I found these on amazon and I LOVE them. The heel is so unique and everything is so sparkly!! 🙂 So….. in excitement I showed them to my mom who was super disgusted. She thinks they look like stripper shoes and thinks that I should keep looking. She also thinks it’s too eary to look for shoes and jewelry, which I can understand. What do you guys think?

I’m with your mom 🙁 Sorry but they are not my style at all.

They are SUPER fun! I love all the sparkles.
If Cinderella went out clubbing instead of to the ball, that’s what she would have worn!

@Soon-to-be Mrs. Baranick: I say it’s your wedding wear what you want! But they look terribly uncomfortable. 8 hours in those?

I’m siding with your mom, they’re a little.. over the top. I think I’d like the heel if it wasn’t for the platform.

I LOVE them!! They’re so fun! That heel is amazing.

I think the heel is gorgeous, but I think they are closer to stripper shoes than they are bridal shoes. But heck, that doesn’t mean you can’t wear them.
I do picture a little stage routine to “it’s a nice day for a white wedding….” haha.

Sorry – I have to agree with your mom. But it’s your day, do what YOU want!

Well they’re not my style at all but it’s important that you like them! Those shoes might be more suitable for clubbing than a wedding though. But of course that depends on the style of your wedding. If it’s a glitzy evening affair, they might work.
If they’re not super expensive, you could get something a little more traditional for the ceremony and wear those for the reception!

@Meant2Bee: That’s another thing my mom pointed out but, they are only 5 inches and I wear heels all the time so I’m not too worried about that! Haha also I am only 5’4″ and I want to look taller next to my 6’3″ fiance 🙂

I’m going to side with your mom on this one!

I bought my shoes before I bought the dress so I could wear them while looking at dresses, so I don’t think it is ever too early to get accessories if you really like them. However, those shoes are pretty cheap looking. If you don’t find anything else you like better than by all means, wear what you want, but I wouldn’t stop looking just yet.

They’re a little “cheapy colored” and look cheap…not that they are or trying to insult. It’s just that weird silvery color that makes it look worse.
I agree with your mom!
Any of these are really nice!

@Soon-to-be Mrs. Baranick: I love them! But I am also a person that didn’t value her wedding shoes much because we didn’t use any “shoe” pictures and no one could see them anyway. Plus I wanted to be comfy and those do not look comfy at all.
But if you want to sacrafice comfort for style I say you go girl. They are adorable and blingy!

I think they’re really cute. They would be awesome in photos.
