Do you know what the owners names are or who is helping you? I got scammed by a company in MN for chair cover rental and i know they keep switching their co. name due to me plastering their old one everywhere with bad reviews.
Let me know if you know the names of the people running it?
My wedding was on June 19, 2010 and I went through Monica Delaney (Moments Like This) for our linen rentals. About a month before our wedding I had been trying to reach Monica to confirm our order and make our final changes. A week before the wedding I was very nervous since we had paid her in full and I hadn't heard from her. That's when I went online and started seeing all of the posts other brides from across the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota and feared that I would never see my money nor the linens we paid for. Monica ended up responding to one of the numerous emails I had sent her (I had called and left messages as well) and confirmed that everything was set for our wedding. I was still nervous up until Monica arrived to set up for our wedding. I was not onsite while she was setting up but I was told later that she brough the wrong counts for all of our table linens, chair covers, chair sashes and table runners - we were short on everything! Worst of all, on my wedding day, my Dad had to rush out to another linen company that was generous enough to stay open long enough for us to pick up the extra linens. We ended up spending a lot more money than we budgeted for and my calls and emails to Monica regarding this incident have not been returned. At this point I am not hopeful that I'll get my money back. And to be honest, Monica's inability to deliver our linens was the ONLY thing that went wrong on our wedding day!
It's disheartening to know that this woman chooses to prey on people who are planning for and celebrating one of the happiest days of their life!
KSTP just did a story on this too: http://richfield.kstp.com/content/customers-complain-about-richfield-wedding-company
A wonderful chair cover and ceiling draping vendor is Michele Kanz of Grand Designs!

@Beth Meyer: I hope you did not end up going with Monica Delaney (who now goes by the name "Monica Bessel") because she was a fraud who basically performed a ponzi scheme on me and a number of other brides. I am pretty sure you saw the information on the internet. Happy married life!
@bks245: She never showed up to my wedding and so I had to rush out and look for another provider who did not have the color combination my husband (fiance at the time) and I had painstakingly picked out and discussed with Monica. I am sure she'll get what she deserves at some point in her life. I still have not received any responses from her regarding a refund or even an explanation. She has apparently moved away from the Richfield address in her contract and changed her name and phone number. She is now under the name "Monica Bessel."
Hi Beth
Can you make sure your street address is correct when you are searching for wedding stuff. I am getting all your wedding mail at my home. Thanks!
