Yep, haven't heard of this one either. Sounds like a super sweet idea, but not necessary in my oppinion. I gave gifts to my mom and MIL but did not expect them to give gifts to each other.
Does it seem like an industry thing? I keep seeing posts for people wondering if they exchange gifts with wedding party, parents, fiance but it sounds a bit excessive to do it all.
I agree it sound excessive . I don't expect them to get eachother gifts.

Are the mother of the Bride and the mother of the Groom supposed to exchange gifts at the rehearsal dinner? I have never heard of this tradition.
