Dress shopping is so much fun! Make sure you don't rush it, remember to breathe & enjoy the moment where you feel like a bride when you find the dress. If you don't find the dress, don't worry...its waiting for you somewhere!

ps, i would def bring water and snacks to the try-ons for your mom - my mom was SO grateful around hour 3 that i had granola bars in my bag lol

Have fun! The only advice I would say is don't let anyone pressure you into a dress. Only get what you love and are comfortable in.
Congratulations! Lovebird's idea about the snacks and water is exactly what I was going to recommend. Also, make sure to take time and eat a good lunch. You are going to have so much fun!
I would also bring a robe with you just in case. Most places provide them, but some don't. My BM who went shopping with me also brought some "chicken cutlets" so I could get a boost if the dress required.
Also, don't feel guilty for cancelling an appointment if you find the dress before the end of appointment 6. I found my perfect dress at the first shop I went to, and had 2 other appointments later that day. I am sure if I would have gone to those I might have just gotten more and more confused!

I cannot freaking wait until Monday. Because...I am FINALLY going dress shopping with my mom! She and my dad are flying into town tomorrow, and then we are taking the train to Manhattan on Monday morning! Yay! It will be great to hang out with her for two days and hopefully buy my dress! I have six appointments scheduled over Monday and Tuesday. We are staying in a cute hotel near Central Park and will just have a grand old time, I'm sure!
I am getting a hair cut, blow-out, and manicure and pedicure before the big trip. And, I bought new outfits (and new special sucky-inny undies--a fave of my FI, haha) so I can go shopping for what is, essentially, another outfit. I might be crazy and completely over preparing, but I am sooooo pumped!
Any advice? I hope to share a photo with you all of my wedding dress come Wednesday. Wish me luck!
