Well, at first I wasnt planning on doing a monogram. Heck, I didnt even realize that monograms were a thing to do! But then I realized that a monogram could be a fun and unique way to personalize our invitations and our wedding programs (which are going to be paddle fans!!) so I decided I wanted to look for a cute monogram that fits us. Here are 2 that I am considering. One is a sunflower (I love sunflowers and they will be used to decorate and for bridesmaid bouqets) and the other is a claddagh. Im Irish and feel like it would be a nice way to incorporate my heritage. We are already incorporating some of his because we are having a chuppah. Please tell me which one you like better!!

I like the sunflower because it looks more casual, and then could be more formal depending on how you use it! The Claddagh is cool but decidedly less flexible… and presents a theme all its own.

I like the sunflower one more, as well…

I like the claddagh better and I like how you can put it on the chuppah as kind of a meshing of cultures – but I’m a little biased. Fiance and I are both Irish and he proposed in Ireland. 😉

I love the claddagh, it looks more classy IMO. But both are beautiful it’s a tough choice

I like both, but I think the sunflower is one that you can get more use out of. Very cute!

I like the sunflower best for a casual to semi-casual wedding and I like the claddagh better for a more semi-formal to formal wedding, so I say it would depend on your wedding style.

Thanks everyone! Im going to ask my Fiance which one he likes better and right now Im leaning towards the sunflower. I love claddaghs but I think I am going to go with a claddagh charm garter. But well see!
