Hi Ladies!

I really wanted to jazz up our mini take-out boxes for our candy buffet, but didn't want to spend alot of money.  I found some really awesome customizable monogram stickers on Zazzle, but they were going to cost like $100 for 200 stickers!  I couldn't justify spending that much on stickers.  I tried making them myself, thinking I'd print them on full sheets of sticker paper and use a decorative paper punch from Fiskars to punch them out.  Well, that didn't work either.  It was way too time consuming and I just couldn't get it right. 

I finally got it!!  At work, I have Paint Shop Pro.  PSP has a really nice screen capturing tool.  So....I went to Zazzle, designed my sticker and then used the screen capture tool in PSP to capture my sticker.  Once it's in PSP, I had to touch it up a bit and then I saved the image as a .jpg.  If you go to the Avery website, you can design and print labels straight from there, or you can download their templates.  I found 1 1/2" round labels (they don't sell them in many stores so I ordered them online, 400 for $25 (because I did 2 day shipping)).  Just to see if it'd work, I did the design & print option on the website, selected those labels and uploaded my Zazzle .jpg!  It worked!!!!  And it looks awesome!  You have to adjust it a bit on the template, but it's SUPER easy and it looks just like it would from Zazzle!  And I'm only paying $25 for 400 labels!!  I may need to get new ink cartridges for my printer, but even then, maybe another $25....that's still cheaper than ordering them online and I'm getting 200 more stickers this way :-)
