hi, just saw this...I'm having a Monterey area wedding!
Monterey by way of Pacific Grove:) Have is the planning going for y'all?
@divergirl: Hi I'm getting married in Monterey a couple months before you. How is your planning coming along?
Any other Monterey brides? I am going to actually be a redo bride lol.We were married this year May 17th in a civil ceremony and had plans of waiting until our fifth year anny for a renewal with a reception in Dec this year but said what the heck 500 more plus cost of my dress and his tux and we can do the whole thing lol. So far we have just been looking online for reception sites but cant really find any for our 300 guest list so any and all help will be accepted.
That would be awesome. Wonder if there are any others besides the two of us lol. Im a do over bride and a DIY bride both the hubs and I are in our 30s. Planning a beach feel wedding in a church though. Will be very casual and laid back.
There are at least a handful of us :) My wedding is rapidly approaching, but I'll see what I can cook up for a meet...if not before, then definitely after.
I'm in my 30s and my FI is early 40s. I go to the San Jose bee meet ups and they are tons of fun. I've met a lot of great bees through the meets and it's nice to have fellow brides to talk weddings with :)
Sounds good I am new to the Marina/Monterey area so just talking and making new friends is a big bonus for me lol.
