Any of you guys mind sharing where you're planning on having your reception? Or have any good tips for vendors??
Not from Montreal, but have been there many a time (I grew up 15 min from the border in Plattsburgh).....it would be so pretty to be married somewhere in Old Quebec

I haven't had my wedding yet but I can report back with my contacts.
I only moved here from Toronto about 6 years ago so if it wasn't for my friends to help me, I don't think I would have been able to put this together.
I am looking for a hair stylist if anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it.
I am having my ceremony at the St.Rapheal Golf course in Ile Bizard and my reception at Stewart Hall.

Hi! I got married a couple years ago in Montreal--it's where my husband and I met.
We got married at a local church, did pictures at Parc Marguerite-Bourgeoys and then had our reception at the Thomson House on McGill's downtown Campus. They have stipulations about who can use the space, but it would be best to call. The ballroom is long and narrow but it accomodated our 72 guests comfortably. We loved the charm of the old house.
I had my hair done by Stefan at La Coupe on the corner of Peel and Sherbrooke, but that made sense in terms of location and my wedding.
